My practice is shaped by everyday encounters — light falling across a wall, the curve of a leaf, colours gathered from the garden. I work by following unplanned motions, letting images, textures, and forms emerge in their own rhythm. My paintings often arrive before I understand them, carrying fragments of thought, intuition, or memory that only reveal themselves years later.
Beauty, to me, is not decorative but vital: it lifts the everyday into something inspired, alive. Whether in the intimacy of a painted surface or the atmosphere of a styled space, I am drawn to creating environments that honour the small and the sacred, the fleeting and the enduring.
