BLOCK SHRINES
My Block Shrines practise is my personal sculptural practise. Shrines made from my block, meaning the property we live, the neighbourhood or sometimes the place where we are staying.

It is my way of drawing my eye to the present. Noticing what is around me and making a mini monument to the every day.

Most of the time I take a walk around my garden and see what is drawing my attention, or what is ready to harvest. Dill stalks, dried puka leaves fallen to the ground, a delicate poppy petal, juicy tomatoes.

Mother nature is endlessly inspiring.

Prints are available as one of one prints. As a representation of the ephermal moment they capture, one moment captured with a shutter before the plants fall and move and change. One print to represent one moment in time.
